Obc non creamy layer eligibility father group c employee salary 9 lakh

I belong to the o.b.c community. My father is a group C employee in central government. His total annual salary is around 9 lakhs. We don't have any other source of income. Am i eligible for getting non creamy layer certificate for getting reservation in government job. Is this income from salary is countable with reference to the 6 lakh limit for non creamy layer? Some people said income from salary is not countable for creamy layer and i am eligible while some said that if income from any source including salary is more than 6 lakhs then i am not eligible. So i am looking for the proper advice from lawrato team and waiting for your answer.
