Neighbour states he would give police complaint if our plot isnt clean

We own a property at Chennai.Since my father is senior citizen he couldn't frequently go and clean his plot as shrubs are growing. Our neighbour is giving frequent reminders and threatening he would give police complaint through association if our plot is not cleaned. Can he really give complaint on us to police on this trivial issue? He claims that due to shrubs insects are reptiles are entering into his house. Requesting your advice and guidance on this.

I presume that your father has purchased a vacant plot in a layout. Normally, if there is any agreement with the promoter of project with regard to keeping the purchased plot clean then only you need to keep it clean. Otherwise, growth of weeds is common on a vacant plot. Your neighbour cannot threaten you with police complaint.

In this matter, the police can't interfere with this kind of problem but the corporation can interfere and make only a fine not any criminal action. I have a vast practice in that area you can seek my assistance in your matter.
