Need advice on divorce Only register marriage done without ceremony

Hi Team I got register marriage done it's been almost more than 1and half year since register wedding the wedding happened without ceremony. Now my father in-law is not ready to accept me so I want to go for divorce and move on instead of waiting Please advise how can I proceed with as I hear any register wedding without ceremony is not valid is that true Also please don't take my name or contact number anywhere

Registered Marriage is valid in law. You will have to apply for Divorce under the law that you registered the marriage in. For eg. if you registered your marriage under Hindu Marriage Act, then same would apply for Divorce also.

Even if there was no ceremony the marriage is registered and is valid. you might be having a copy of the certificate given by Sib registrar. so you have to file a Case for divorce. if you ate in Bangalore you should file in family Court.
