To change the date of birth in 10th or 12th class marksheet, a representation has to be submitted to the concerned Board. If no action is taken even after the representation, directions have to be sought from the High Court by filing a writ petition.

Yes, you may contact me. I have recently and successfully handled similar cases relating to correction of name and Date of Birth in marksheets. Such corrections are legally permissible when supported by valid documentary evidence like Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, School Admission Register, Gazette Notification, and a sworn Affidavit. The first step is to submit a formal application to the concerned Education Board/University along with the required documents. In case the authority refuses to carry out the correction without valid justification, a civil suit for Declaration and Mandatory Injunction can be filed before the competent Civil Court. The Court may direct the concerned authority to rectify the records based on authentic proof. Judicial precedents have clearly established that genuine clerical or factual errors in educational records should not prejudice a person’s legal or professional rights. I have already resolved such matters through proper legal procedure and court directions. Therefore, your case can also be handled effectively through lawful remedies
