My neighbor is running tiffin service of daily 300+ tiffin in his rented flat. We all members of society are against it as it leads to water scarcity, continue food cooking odor. He also stores 3-4 cylinders in his flat which is next level threat to safety. What can be done to get him removed. We have asked the flat owner to remove his tenant family but he is not taking any action.

First and for most residential premises can only be used for residential use only. Since the residential premises is used for commercial purpose the same is illegal. Even after complaining the same to the owner of the flat if he is not initiating any action against the licensee you can directly approach to the deputy registrar against the owner get the flat vacated. Simultaneously you need to intimate about the same to the local police station and the municipal authorities by addressing a letter on the letterhead of society. Regards

Are you ready to provide him alternate employment?...do you have proof of water scarcity?...PMC promises 145L per person per day. how many live in his flat? are they using more water?... have u fixed any water meters for each flat in your society?.. everybody stores 2 cylinders in flat... what is your problem with 2 more?...are people coming and going to the flat?..is there excessive lift usage?
