My friend is not returning my money

Hello my friend has taken 2 lakh 50,000 from me and he was giving 5% intrest and gave the money to another person for more interest for he gave me 3 current account cheque of some security agency and now he ignoring to return the amount i don't know what to do please suggest me
you can give legal notice then after wait some days if he doesn't replay then you can file pcr complaints to against him then court will issue against notice then after also he doesn't replay then warrant issued

You can file the case/complaint before the Hon'ble court after dishonouring the cheques but you have to prove that the money is given to your friend. You have not mentioned that how you have money of Rs.2.5L to your friend by cash or by cheque etc. and not clear have you obtained any proof, documents, ONDP &CP.

you can address a legal notice through an advocate calling upon him to return the advanced money failing which you will file a cheating case against him. It is necessary that you share other relevant documents so that I can guide you further

It is a case of cheating. you have to first send a legal notice to him stating a time period within which he should return your money back.
