My dob related issue pls help me find a solution

Hello sir/ ma'am I am from navimumbai, I wanted your expert advice on a legal matter..the thing is my dobprinted on aadhar card is wrong..my actual year is 1996 but in aadhar its 1986...I didn't get it corrected at that point of time..but recently I've lost some of my imp docs in an accident so can't change it with help of supporting docs ..if I present a fakeb certificate just to correct my dob in aadhar would I have to face legal actions even if I donot misuse my adhar card fr any wrong purpos

Yes. Providing fabricated documents for adhaar will be a serious criminal offence and one which can very easily be detected by the authorities while verifying the said documents. It is advisable to have your birth certificate or other records reissued and use authentic documents for the purpose of updating adhaar details. The process of having these documents reissued is not very complicated or difficult. Please keep in mind that using fabricated documents may give rise to unwanted suspicion from the authorities and lead to adverse consequences. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Well, If you create a fake Birth Certificate to get your DOB on Aadhar updated accordingly as per the BC, then, if tomorrow, it gets revealed to the concerned authorities, that, you have committed such an offence, then, they will charge you.
