lost hands in electric shock 10 years back, can i claim compensation

I lose two hands in current shock in my rented House in 2006. Current line was near my house. I don't get any compensation from government and others. Now my age 24 . is it possible to get the compensation.
you can always file a case for compensation against them. if the court feels that it was due to the negligence of the electricity department due to which the tragedy occurred in your life you will be granted compensation. but you need to have solid proof to prove it in the court.
