Land related questions regarding family property

If the land in mother name after the death of the mother. That property going only daughters or both sons and daughters
Since the mother has died intestate, not only the sons and daughters but the property goes to all the persons who are the legal heirs of the mother . So pls clarify on that point. I am not sure whether any document with regard to the property has been registered by your mother.
