Labour laws and it’s implementation
28-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
On May 1, International Labour Day is celebrated.nnOn this day, I invited a professional carpenter to tighten screw of my revolving chair, which was tilting to one side. nnMy residential complex guards refused to give entry to professional carpenter stating it is Labour Day and labour is not allowed to work. nnMy questions are: nn1. Is labour work disallowed by law on Labour Day? nn2. Can residential society ban entry of personal invite to an individual? Can they filter the guests?
Well, there is nothing as such, that, as per the Law, no labourer is allowed to work on International Labourer's Day. Moreover, who gave permission to the Society Guards to restrict Labourers from working on Labourer's Day and as such, they disallowed their entry.
