KIndly guide, RTI can be filled against a private school in Delhi

21-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am interested in knowing the procedure to file RTI against a private school in Delhi. Recently they are collecting the higher tuition fee i.e Rs. 8413. According to the school authority, they had filed a request against the provision of section 17 (3, 18(5), 24(1)of the DSEA 1973 read with the rules 172, 173, 175 & 177 of the DSER 1973 Director of Education for the hike in the fee for sufficient funds for meeting financial implications. The school is asking for a hike from the academic sessions 2018-19 and 2019-20. The fee collected was earlier was Rs. 6953. As per the school, the Director (Education) has accepted the proposal submitted and allowed them to increase the tuition fee by 10% from 1st April 2020. I need to know Rs. 8413 tuition fee is high and how school got approval for the same. But they are not sharing complete document. Looking for valuable directions.

Hey Sir,

Either off line or online you can move and file a RTI to Director of Education to disclose all the relevant documents and observations made during the acceptance of the proposal of the hike of tuition fees.

Sir RTI can be filed online by paying the prescribed fee or otherwise you can get the same filed through the lawyer. Also the procedure for the procurement of the approval can be provided if you can provide the details of the educational institute and under which authority it falls under. Please feel free to contact

Thanks
