Received challan with shaman shulk 1000 of mv 1988 s 179(1). Kindly tell what to do now. Because mv 1988 s 179(1) says fines which may extend 500 rupees.
I received it yesterday and payment time is 3 days

MV act had been amended last year and now the fines are revised and have increased from the previous amount. So paying is the only option or you may get your self presented in lok Adalat where you may be given some relaxation on your fine.
