It's almost one year I have failed case but no steps taken by adv

I have paid money to my advocate but she is not taking any steps for past 1 year. I'm getting stress and can't focus on my career. What should I do.

what case have you filed. you have to attend the court to know what is happpening in court. on the hearing dates? is your advocate attending your case or not. you can yourself speak to judge to know the delay factor.

hasn't taken the necessary steps in your case, you should first request a written receipt for the payment and demand the return of your case documents upon its closure. If the advocate refuses to return documents or engage in other misconduct, you can file a complaint with the Bar Council of India or your state's Bar Council.
