Is it okay to get affidavit notarized in another state

I am living in Kerala.So is it legal to get my affidavit notarized in another state like Karnataka

under the notaries act wide section 8(1)(e) every notary is authorised to verify affidavit. every notary has its own jurisdiction some have jurisdiction all over India in case of notary appointed by the central government.
