Individual patta and unique door number

12-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
Our property is registered on 24 Nov 2015 and the combined patta (in many names of the survey#) is transferred to our name. Our house number is 110 and we have bought a portion of 1405 sq ft and the rest is with other person.(same house number). There is no boundary wall between two portions. We wanted to get individual patta in our name for our portion and we wanted to have fencing for our plot. We wanted to have our unique house number too.(House number in registration property document is 110) We approached the town panchayat and Taluk office to resolve this. However, though all our documents are submitted, our application status shows ‘The application is pending with Fakir surveyor’. We are unable to get proper response from the authorities. We are doubtful if they are expecting bribe. Is there any honest means of resolving this and getting our fair demands at the earliest?

Honesty is an unwelcome term nowadays. It looks like the surveyor has not yet surveyed the plot officially and demarcated the respective portions for issue of individual patta. You have to approach him to expedite the process. Take the assistance of an advocate.
