06-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
What would be the legal right for students who are in the midst of a course, when UGC declares illegal MOU by an educational institute having PAN India campuses, with a University in Rajasthan ? UGC made the MOU void by citing prof yashpal case. Now students filed case in Delhi high court & Supreme court, and case is posted for final judgement in DHC / SC after couple of final hear While the legal validity of course & exams are suspected, educational institute rushes to conduct exam. Is it legally tenable ? Students wish to write exam only after establishing legal validity of course & exam.

Since matter is pending in court, it would be advisable to approach the concerned lawyer and seek his advice. It may be possible that an application be filed in Supreme Court seeking Appropriate directions and a clarification on the issue. Please note that this is only a cursory advice and I am not aware of complete facts to advice comprehensively.
