I want to say that BSES send me illegal electricity theft notice whereas no incidents of power stealing have happened. I complaint BSES office and asked to show proof, they refused and said we have sent the case to the court and show proof in court. 2 month has passed but we have not received notice from dwarka court. If the matter has been refer to Court by BSES than you should wait for Court notice. It's better to present your case in Court. Meanwhile you must give a written representation to BSES officials telling your side of story. If you want to file a case against BSES officials for defamation you are well within your right to do so.

Yes some time some scrupulous elements do such action. You can move Civil court for stay to the operation of the notice. You can also move competition commission for abusing the dominant position being a monopoly if you can prove you case you would be Handsomely compensated. You can also move Consumer forum for redressing you grievances.
