I had given loan of 500000/- to a person Person not returning When I complained to police the person is showing a receipt of settlement between me and him that he has paid me on a plain paper sign on 1 rupee revenue stamp admissible in court Thank you
If you have signed on the said settlement agreement which is registered and if it was obtained by coercion or without valid consent then you can file a civil suit for recovery after sending a legal notice to the said opposite party.
