How to protect degree after giving false caste certificate

Took admission in mbbs with reservation...certificate cancelled on 2013 December...degree given in 2014..doing post graduation on open category..writ petition going on single bench high court against cancellation of caste certificate ...how to protect degree now??
The Supreme Court held that job and admissions secured on caste certificates in reserved categories cannot be sustained if found to be fake subsequently. You can protect your degree if you can establish that it was a genuine mistake or that you were not aware that the certificate you submitted was not genuine.
