How to legally get married to a person following different religion

I am a Hindu divorced female want to marry unmarried Christian who is younger to me.. parents are not accepting our marriage..how to proceed legally?

If either party wants to get converted into the religion of other, the marriage can be performed as per the religious law. if you both intent to stick to your religion, marriage can be performed under special marriage act. Consult Advocate of state, where you intend to get marriage performed to comply with formalities. Age is of no concern, unless both are majors.

When the boy and girl both are majors then there are no barriers to stop the marriages and they will get support of local PS and registrar of marriages go and approach a ROM and celebrate it and have witness persons at least two in numbers.

You can marry him under special mariage act. through marriage registration at sub-registrar office at your nearest place. search in google for the office. File an application for marriage, follow the instructions carefully as per instructions given on the application and do marriage.
