How to deal with tenant not paying rent

I have rented my house for last 2 yrs he had paid some amount however later on stopped paying rent and every time he sites of loss in his business. Expecting some lump sum amount to settle mine. Still he is saying he will pay need some help with time. What are legal options I have. I don't have apitite to take on any more on false promises. Need help

File eviction suit as soon as possible ,if is not agree to pay your rent .do you have rent agreement and is he giving rent by cheque or cash .if by cheque then collect all accounts statement .this will help you

You should give him a notice for eviction asking him to pay the complete arrears of rent within fifteen days else vacate your premises with immediate effect. Even if he dosent do then you can file a suit for eviction as well as if required FIR against him

you may fix a suitable appointment to which come down along with the document of proof of his residence under the tenancy at your premise. Then we shall look into the deal for an appropriate remedy as per law.

If your tenant is not paying rent regularly and stop paying same you should issue legal notice to evacuate the rented premises and also demand the pending rent. Later if he didn't comply the notice you have to sue him in competent court.
