Can a bank send a summon through SMS to attend Lok Adalat but what i Know is that court summon comes by post
No, bank can not send any summon through SMS to attend Lok Adalat but the bank only can inform you about this through SMS. Yes the summons issued by the Courts are sent by post or through a court person.

What is the process of summon?
A summons can be served to a corporation/entity through a designated representative (e.g. The summon can be served on a corporation/entity by serving it to a representative of the entity (e.g. The summons must be sent to the Head of the Department where the Government Servant is employed if the summoned person is one.

How does court send summons?

I am not surprised to hear this, the procedural aspect of law is ever changing process and it is possible that summon has been served upon you through SMS. All procedures are only handmaids of Justice. The judges can evolve new procedures with changes in time.
Hon'ble Delhi High Court in one the landmark case termed as "deemed proper" the service of summonses via SMSes, e-mails.
So I suggest you to kindly hire a lawyer to see if the case is actually there or not on the said date.

Yes bank can send information about case listed in lokadalat as there are summons in bulk to send to sendee. You should go there and see what the matter is. You can also enquire about it through a counsel.

Yes.bank can send information by SMS in respect of Lol Adalat . Matter of Lak Adalat setled on the mutual consent out of the court. only information is necessary to the parties in respect of the Lol Adalat held by bank. It depends on the will of the parties wheather they agree to setled the matter by consent or otherwise. Opinion accordingly.
