Hi Sir, I am having a vehicle RC validity is over in 2020 but vehicle is in moving condition. I had given it to a needy as he is poor but since validity is over he is unable to pay lumpsum to get it renewed and transferred. I wish to ask you that is there any format on stamp that I can get signed by him so that in case of any issue my name is no taken into account. The vehicle is registered in my father's name, he is 75 now. Please suggest. Thanks

As per your query I would suggest you to kindly renew the RC as also if the vehicle is in moving condition that does not mean that you can put the vehicle on road without having a proper RC tomorrow if the vehicle gets involved in an accident then you will be held liable. With respect to the change of ownership transferred to the person whom you want to give it as per the procedure by transport department or else if tomorrow it gets involved in any illegal activity your father could be in trouble .For further information on this contact me with the registered mobile no with lawrato.
