Harrasment by neighbor what to do

Hi, We have lost our peace of mind, by a family who has bought the floor above us. Their children plays inside, which is okay, but dropping hard balls on floor, running one room to another creates thumping noise. This becomes hard to bear, during afternoon and night, when the area gets quiet. Image the children playing at night till 1:30 am sometimes. The noise becomes so unbearable! All tries to convince and informing about the noises fell to deaf ears. Complaining to society did not help. We even had a biter scuffle, and police complaint was lodged against me. The noises have increased even after this. In short, we are going through this trauma every moment. Is my requirement of right to live in peace is wrong? I actually do not have the capacity to fight them in police station or court. What are my options? Regards Sajal
