Gazette Notification for Name change

13-Dec-2024 (In Civil Law)
My name in class 10th is : Name/Surname. Due to change in board (CBSE to State Board), My name in class 12th is : Surname/Student name/Father's name. The photo identity card (Aadhar card) & Graduation certificate also bears the name as mentioned in class 12th marksheet.  So my question is: Q. Does the above counts as name change ? Q. If yes, then can a gazette notification be possible for such a case?

Yes, there is only one way to make possible, and that is the process to get it published in the official gazette of the government of India. There is a step-by-step process to that effect, which includes a notarized affidavit of one and same person then newspapers publication and finally the gazette publication.

yes , gazette notification is mandatory for that purpose, without it no any other option to change the same. after that it will be given in the cbse department and they proceed according to the procedure and if they don't proceed then you can go for a civil case regarding this.
