07-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hi I am  from Jaipur (Rajasthan) I have transfer funds from my bank account to my friend's bank account for his need. but now he always said that he will pay soon, but till now he didn't pay a single rupee. He is a director of Event company. I gave money for his show on 15 July 2017. I don't have any other document like cheque or any agreement instead of bank statement for this transfer. Three days back I lodge a FIR against him, but the sub inspector said he could not do anything in this case. please help me, how can i get my money back from him.

Yes you can recover the same from your friend as you have filed a civil recovery suit for recovered the same from your friend and also claim the interest for the said recovery amount. This amount you have claim within 3 years only.

How was the money transferred? If it was directly in his bank account through your's then there will be a proof of money transfer and impending liability. In such a situation a recovery suit can be filed against him.
