For tarnished the reputation in office and society by the wife .

Sir , my wife is sending false and fabricated complain to my office while her cases have already running against me i.e. DV Act, 125 CrPC, 498A. So, can we file a Defamation suit against my wife. n If Answer Yes, then in which section, please describe the section.Can we go to file u/s 19 CPC or u/s 499 IPC, which one is better.

Dear Sir, You may file a defamation suit against her. In addition to it if she is trying to blackmail you, then also you have appropriate legal remedies. You may contact us for more discussions. Thanks and Regards

yes, you can file defamation case against your wife under section -499 of INDIAN PENAL CODE. AS she had been sending false and fabricated complaint to your office as per your knowledge she is defaming you and it's a very serious section.. you can definitely file a defamation case under section 499 IPC.
