Family forcing not to date a girl of my choice

My parents force me not to date a girl of my choice. They starts emotionally blackmailing me. What legal actions can I take? I am 21+. I am hindu.

You can date and get married to any girl of your choice. If they are threatening you or the girl then you can file a formal police complaint seeking protection against any wrongful act that may be committed upon you. If it's just an emotional blackmail then there is a chance that they may legally disown you to put pressure upon you. If you want to secure your interest in the family property while dating the girl then you can file a suit for partition before they disown you from the property. Things can even be sorted through counseling. All the best. Thank you.

It is a violation of personal life and liberty provided by Fundamental Rights and in violation of it you can approach Supreme Court or High Court. Else you can file suit for injunction in District court.
