Facing Mental Harrashment By Ex Boyfriend Of My Wife, kindly tell me what legal step I can take to prevent this.
Hi, if you are facing harassment by anyone and if they / Whoever intentionally insults, and thereby gives provocation to any person, intending or knowing it to be likely that such provocation will cause him to break the public peace, or to commit any other offence, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
Hence you may lodge a complaint with the jurisdictional police station on the person who is troubling you of Mental Harassment under IPC 504. If police does not register FIR then file petition under section 156(3) crpc in the magistrate's court.
