Extreme seepage from upper floor

I m facing severe seepage problem due to resident of upper floor he doesn't do anything I even verbally complaint to the president of society

you can file a civil suit to complaint about the problem above rather than making a verbal complaint to the person. if the case is instituted then the court will direct the person to undertake the problem and get you out of the problem

You will have to send them legal notice and pursue civil litigation (this will take time and more money) or also file a criminal complaint in the police station for nuisance (this will not take much long. The police will visit the place and seeing him the flat owner should fix the issue, falling which they will face criminal case and will have to go to courts and may go to jail). Hopefully criminal complaint should resolve your issue.

sir start off with written complaint to the resident of the society who is causing such problem and send a copy of the same to the president of society. If no action is taken in this regard, I recommend you send them a Legal Notice.

We can serve him with the legal notice indicating our problems from the seepage and directing them to take steps for its rectification. However, if they does not rectify the same, we can prefer a suit for injunction against them
