For how long I have to pay maintenance of dv case? What happens afterwards the case is finalized? Do I have to pay maintenance to the wife for lifetime?

yes you have to pay maintenance until until she is alive because the maintenance order is in nature Deepa to bind the parties for the next order which is alteration of maintenance under section 127 of code of criminal procedure and section 25 of Domestic Violence Act which enable magistrate 2 alter the maintenance amount HD position on that time
