Disposal of writ petition through written arguments

18-Nov-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have filed a writ petition before Allahabad High Court through a legal Counsel to quash an Award of Labour Court and it is pending for the last 12 years. The respondent has submitted the Counter Affidavit 10 years back but my counsel is not taking steps to list the case. I have no funds to engage another lawyer. Can I submit a written argument on affidavit , with a request to the court to decide the case finally on merit. nWhat are the law and rules in this regard. ? Kindly guide, suitably through any practicing lawyer on constitutional matters.

dear client as per your query I can only suggest that you have to first list the case then only any update can be persued when the case is listed you can appear in person before the court to argue with the consent of the court for future paid consultation please contact us with your relevant documents.

You need to change your advocate if he is not working in your favour. he has to file rejoinder affidavit in rely of counter affidavit filed by respondent of your case. You can file written submissions but by the direction of Hon'ble High Court.
