Delhi university not giving admission.

My son's number has come through cuet in Atmaram College in DU but due to not having caste certificate in his name, college is not giving admission while caste certificate is in father's, student is given only 3 days to produce caste certificate in his own name. But it takes 15-20 days to get the certificate. College is not taking undertaking.

Greetings to you sir It’s a matter of legal strategy which your lawyer can device for you and proceed accordingly. But the first thing which you should mandatorily do is to write to the university addressing your grievances and seeking time for that and the said communication must be duly received by you and even then if they don’t give time, you will have to immediately approach the High court, praying for issuance of direction against the university to give you time. That aggrieved student should go through a writ petition before the Hon'ble Delhi High Court, thereby, praying the Hon'ble court to direct the concerned university to consider the students case as student's career can not be put at stake due to non-production of a caste certificate which could be obtained by the student in due time. Please go with a heavy petition.
