Defendant Not Accepting Summons

08-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
What to do if defendant is not accepting the court summons. How to get him served. The defendant stays in a paying guest, if some other person staying receives the summon, does it mean that the defendant is served?

If the defendant is not accepting the summons then it will be considered as deemed service further you can apprise the court and serve the defendant through WhatsApp and Email as well.
The last known address of the defendant to you is the address you are liable to serve him.

Hi, going by the facts provided by you,
It is recommended to ask for dasti summons from the Hon’ble court.
That ways you can go with the Naib Court to deliver the summons to the defendant. You can tell the Court guy that who is the person.
