Defamation case for society issues

I live in a row house society. Three of my neighbors had arguments with me and my wife out side our house entrance. They used bad language and even threatened me. They were shouting very loudly and few of our other neighbors came out to see their tamasha. Everything is recorded in my CCTV. We had even filed a police complaint and local police registered a NC for this. Now I want to know, based on CCTV footage, Can I file a defamation case against these 3 neighbors?

Yes you can but within six months..but persons who were there and friendly to you must give evidence on your behalf... because cctv doesn't record voice unless such recording systems in installed... file complaint with minute details.
