Death certificate correction the person was died four years ago

My brother in law was died four years ago. Due to sick he was admitted in gvt and died, In death certificate total name was wrong They mentioned **chinta balu ** instead of (Chintapalli balayesu) What can I do please drop me a suggestion

this is only a correction of name not the change of name so visit the births and deaths record office from where you got the certificate earlier and apply the same to issue a newone with correction, the person applying should give affidavit and the deceased adhar or pan or tenth where his name is full to be furnished..a small fee may be charged the new certificate will be issued after verification in less than one month.

In India (including Telangana / Andhra Pradesh), name correction in a Death Certificate is done through the local Registrar of Births & Deaths (Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Gram Panchayat) where the death was registered.
