Criteria for non creamy layer status

I am class II officer (direct),got promotion after age of 40, salary exceed to 8 lakhs,can I be considered as non creamy layer status.

Sir, as per the present recommendation, you are not going to be considered as "Non-Creamy-Layer-Status". However, the details scrutiny of your income is needed for the certainty. You need to consult a good income tax lawyer to ascertain as to what is the exact income you have had in your hand. At present, it is a debatable issue.

Yes you are considered to be non creamy layer status. Salary is not the sole cariteary for considering ones status of creamy layer. The basic careteria is immovable property . The amount of the same is perhaps 8 lac.

Yes, you can be considered as non creamy bc as because the government has increased the bar for it and now the new bar is 10 lakhs. Secondly, the incomes of the government employees are not at all considered for creamy or non creamy status. So in any case you and your childrens are eligible for non creamy bc status.
