company put false charge that i stolen rs 50000

i join a company as a GET. and i left them after 1 year. now they are threatening me that i left the company with 50000 Rs. that is not true. i used all money in company for expenses lile labour expence and material expense. i dont have any offer letter provided by them. they are saying that they will go in court. i said them that i will pay 10000 which is balance from that 50000. but they are not listening. what should i do. please help

Firstly, you need evidence that the disputed amount, which in this case is 50k is put to genuine expenses like labour and various materials. You need to basically dig up something like invoices etc. If they are threatening you with false accusations and plan to extort 50k then they can be charged primarily under Section 388 of the Indian Penal Code.
