Civil case against company routed thru an employee

I am an employee in marketing department . I had a signed a document of agreement between company and a firm in behalf of company as md was out of office . It was a case of appointing C and F agent. Now he is claiming money back given to company and send a legal notice to company thru me . What should I do . Company has just rec advocate notice thru me
dear client if the agents have given their money to the company and at the time of such transactions if you are associated with the company the their claim would be valid one but if you have left the company or disassociated your self from company only then you may be protected.
