Caught in drink and drive but pleaded not guilty before court

hello every one i was caught in drink and drive on 9/8/17 and it was my first offence the breathanalyser showed 37.7mg/100 ml police officer fined me with 2000 rs and confiscated by driving license and my motorbike and told to come to court no 17(borivali court) next morning. A lawyer came up to me at court and told me first not to plead guilty.so i didnt plead guilty so the court set me off a bail for 7000 rupees and gave me 13/2/18 date for next hearing. lawyer explained to me if i would have pleaded guilty the court would have send me to jail for 4 days .but now we will put up the case in lok adalat whenever it is announced were u will plead guilty & there you wont have to do jail time but will have to pay some fine & also ur bail amount 7000 rupees will be refunded I want to know 1.was it right to not to plead guilty & what if i plead guilty in Lok Adalat what will be the consequences? 2. and since i am on bail can i travel out of india for my work ?
