CAN AN OWNER SALE HIS PROPERTY DURING A LEASE PERIOD OF 99 YEARS!

21-Apr-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello sir, I need to ask is there any law by which an owner can sale his/her property during the lease period of 99 years. My grand father owned a property (bunglow) in meerut cantonment area which is under Ministry of defence and made a registered lease deed of 99 years in 1905 with a condition of rent per month, is there any possibility under india law by which he can sale this property during the lease period to the same person against whom lease deed was created ! 2. What is the time period i should go for a legal procedure for permanent injunction or renewal of lease after the lease deed is expired!

A leasehold property can be sold to any third party only after obtaining a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the authorities concerned. However, in this case you can get the property converted to a freehold property.
