Calling of marriage after Roka Ceremony, no interaction of boy n girl

22-Apr-2023 (In Civil Law)
We fixed marriage of our son to a girl. They came to our house and did Roka at our place. We had no demands and a token money of 1100 rs was given to my son. Later we got some suspicious news about the family and we want to call off the Roka. Is there any legal case that a girl's family can do against us. Please help. It has been just 4 days for Roka.

try to verify the antecedents of the family and then if the news is true you can go to their house along with some persons and inform them that this marriage cannot happen due to the reasons which you should tell them. they cannot do anything about it. you can also inform the police about it and then tell them.
