Building materials on neighbors land can he take legal action

Hi, I am housing a building on my own land but the problem is that I don't have enough space to keep raw construction material on my land as construction going on. I kept some construction materials on neighbor's land as I will vacant it within 15 day.but the neighbour is telling he will take a legal step against us.please share what steps he can take and how to solve this as even we are not doing any damage of his land. What the process I should go through to short out this problem.
