Arrested without any information

30-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
I was arrested on the last day of the lockdown 3.0 by a Constable. I was returning from the market as I withdrew cash from the ATM and had purchased some stuff. I was stopped at a barricade and was asked to show the documents, I gave them and then he said that I have broken the lockdown rules and I have to appear in front of the Judge for hearing. When I asked about how , he got offended. He ignored the receipt and the stuff lying on the front seat of my car and filed the report. I was called to the police station and made to sign an arrest form. What should I do ?

What will be done in this situation Is that if the FIR has been registered against you alleging the charges under section 188, 269IPC then the first thing you should do is to obtain a bail from the magistrates court. Then contest the trial and get yourself discharged from the matter.

The concerned police official might have basically registered an FIR under section 188 of IPC for not following order of the public servant voluntarily. you need to contest the same in court or the court might admonish the same when presented before it.
