The devolution of the property can be dealt only under religious perspectives. I need to know your religion at first to know how the succession of property has taken place. if you are an Hindu, the husband's property after his demise will go to his wife and his children and mother. if there are no children the property goes to wife and mother. hence being a wife you have the proportional right over the property excluding the succession rights gone to others and you are absolute owner for those properties that are inherited to you and you can do whatever you want over that property. meantime if it is an undivided property, you have to file an partition suit at first and after partition you can do whatever you want in that property. For further clarifications you can call me.
