6 years ago we bought a 9.25 cent plot of around 1.25 Cr. We verfied history of 4 previous buyers of this property and didnt find any issues, so we proceeded with the purchase. Once we completed the deal and all the paper work, a person living in the neighbourhood of that plot started claiming that he had a share in the ownership of that plot, but he lost the papers/document. So we have been fighting a court case for ownership of that plot since then. We always present our documents, claiming our 100% ownership. But that guy always postpones the hearings with a 100 different reasons, like "Attending Sister's wedding" ... Etc. etc. And sometimes he would just straight up say "Give me some time, I have the documents and I will present them in next hearing". He even put an injunction case restricting us to use the the land in any possible manner. This has been going on for 6 years now and still he is on it. How to solve this?
