Non CTS cheque bounce and validity in 2016

1.Still bank will accept the Non CTS cheque(In 2016). 2.Mr,X having non CTS cheque now he is blackmailing more money after paid more also ? making that he will bounce cheque by another person from different place to bank.Question is validity of non CTS cheque. (10 years old and without date ) 3.Please Help me on this Matter how to handle.

Non CTC also accepting some banks , please ask the drawer bank , which is belongs, if they accept, the you can put the cheque. Some banks are not accepting, before dropping the cheque ask , cheque branch and go ahead .

If non CTS cheque is issued by you and if your bank had notified it's customers to suurender CTS cheque and to receive New cheque book then your bank never accept that cheque for presentation of the same for collection.
Even the person who is in possession of that cheque also owes duty to present cheque after notifying by Banks
So those cheques becomes invalid
Before that you gave complaint to police and Bank that you r cheque is missing then the cheque becomes invalid

i hope if it is 10 year old its not an easy task to file the complaint by having non CTS cheques because 2013 may itself the limitation got over for those cheques for the clearance
