Need advice on cheque bounce and wants to get my money back
14-May-2025 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
My money has been robbed by my friend at my wedding time and I gave 6 lakhs to him for wedding purpose, expenses however he did not return my amount since 3 years. I thought that he will return it but now he just gave me cheque for sureity for 2 lakhs 38 housing out of 6 lakhs without date and name. How can I proceed with this to get my money back? I want to keep a case on him for theft
hi if you are having cheque with you then you could deposit the same in the bank and if it is boumced then you could send them legal notice to him for repayment and file cheque bounce case and for the rest of amount you could file civil case

take his signs on blank cheque no ask. him to sign a blank promisery note with revenue. stamp. on it if it's possible for you and , bounce the cheque in ur bank take memo from the bank, either way we can proceed as per negotiable instrument act or summery suit for recovery of money order 37 cpc
