Dear,

Yes. Out of court settlement is possible. Let the court know that you are interested in compromise and willing to settle the disputes out of court with the complainant. Then contact the complainant and his advocate and compromise the matter with them and ask them to file withdrawal petition along with the memorandum of compromise entered between you and the complaint. The court will based on the compromise dismiss the case.

You bring the case to loakadhalath and settled the matter there. Resident amendment regarding compromise the cheque case under sec.147 and compromise recorded in loakadhalath after obtaining signatures of both parties

Yes it is possible to make settlement out of the court in the cheque bounce case ..after successfully payment of amount both the parties appear before the court filed the joint memo of settlement to withdraw the case.
