Bail procedure u/s 138 NI Act against cheque bounced

Please tell me the procedure to get bail if warrant issued against cheque bounce u/s138 NI Act.

Hi Sir
It is advisable to take the bail immediately after your receive summons in cheque bounce case.
And if the warrants are issued,
Pl hire advocate he/she will file cancellation of warrants before court
Pl call for further clarification on the issue

First, appear before the Magistrate through a counsel and ask your advocate to file the power of attorney on your behalf.

File an application to serve the surety bonds. Usually court will ask you to bring a surety worth 10% of the total cheque amount.

Hi,the offence under section negotiable instrument act is a bailable offence ..You can appear before the court on or before the date of hearing and apply for bail with one surety ..You can contact me for further assistance over the same

cheque Bounce case are bailable offences and even if a warrant of arrest has been issued against you you can appear before the court and seek bail provided that you should make sure that you have proper surety and bail Bond available at the time of appearing before the court
